Get Published Already ("GPA," "we," "us") helps authors write, finish, and publish their books. This policy explains what information we collect at getpublishedalready.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
Information you give us
- Assessments and quizzes: your answers, plus your first name, email address, and phone number if you choose to share it.
- Bookings: your name, email, phone, and the time you choose for a Book Readiness Review.
- Purchases: your name and email. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Messages and files: anything you send us through our contact form, by email, or through our manuscript upload page.
Information collected automatically
- Basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, device, and pages visited.
- Campaign information such as UTM tags and advertising click IDs (for example, Facebook's fbclid) when you arrive from an ad or link.
- Cookies and similar technologies, described below.
How We Use Your Information
- To show and email you your assessment results and recommended next steps.
- To schedule and deliver your Book Readiness Review and any services you buy.
- To send you publishing tips, follow-up emails, and offers related to your book. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To process payments and prevent fraud and spam.
- To measure and improve our website and advertising.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Cookies, Meta Pixel, and Advertising
We use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API to understand how people use our site after seeing our ads and to measure ad results. When you take actions such as completing the assessment or booking a review, we may share limited event information with Meta Platforms, Inc. Personal identifiers like your email or phone are hashed (scrambled) before they are sent. Meta may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information from our site and other sites to deliver and measure ads.
You can control ad personalization in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Who We Share Information With
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run GPA, and only as needed:
- Stripe for payment processing.
- Google (Google Calendar) for scheduling reviews.
- Mailgun for sending email.
- Meta for advertising measurement, as described above.
- Our web hosting and server providers.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or others.
How Long We Keep Information
We keep your information while you are a subscriber or client and for as long as needed for the purposes above, including legal, tax, and accounting requirements. Manuscripts you send for review are used only to serve you and are not shared or published without your permission.
Your Choices and Rights
- Unsubscribe: every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
- Access, correction, deletion: email us and we will review, update, or delete your information, unless we must keep it for legal reasons.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under local law. Contact us to exercise them.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Children
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it was last changed.
